The Tipi Company – Castle Marquees
During this tough time of Coronavirus, to protect the vulnerable many of our customers have unfortunately had to close their businesses during lockdown.
While we can all agree that the well-being of our staff and loved ones is our main priority, these measures have heavily affected the hospitality & events industry along with many independent businesses, including ourselves.
Our aim during lockdown is to support our community of fantastic customers, showcase their unique companies and to get you excited for when business is back up and running.
In this series we’ll be introducing you some of our incredible customers and showing off how they use tipis to maximise their potential – hopefully, you’ll consider their services once trading resumes!
Next up is Castle Marquees ….
Tell me about this cool company
Castle Marquees supply a range of marquees for hire. These include our Tipis, in addition to Stretch, Traditional, Pagoda/Top Hat and Clearspan marquees
You can count on Castle Marquees to cater to your dream wedding, a big party, corporate events, sport and community events and more in the South of England.
A family run business since 2008 and based in Hampshire, they work in close collaboration with five stunning venue locations to set up your tipi or marquee including Hale Park, Sopley Lake, Burley Park, Highcliffe Castle and Sopley Mill.
Since 2008 their reputation has grown mostly from word of mouth as customers are so impressed by what they can offer and the quality of their services.
What can I expect from them?
Castle Marquees have a range of stunning tipi hire options that will give any event that wow factor. Of course they are purchased for The Tipi Company, so you can truly trust the quality and strength of the design. You can create a festival style party with one, two or three of their tipis that will also complement its surroundings beautifully. For a sit-down reception, you can seat up to 180 guests in their triple tipi setup. A single Big Hat tipi is 10.3m diameter and can be built with all the sides down, partially lifted, or all the sides lifted taking it up to a 13m diameter
Catering for larger events with bigger numbers of guests, Castle Marquees recommend their stretch tent, a cost-effective alternative to the traditional marquee. The size of their stretch tent measures 21m x 21m.
The traditional marquee fits well for those customers wanting a classic outdoor wedding or event. It can accommodate 80 – 300+ guests as well as space for a wooden dance floor. Castle Marquee has a range of traditional marquees available lengths include 12m, 18m, 24m and 30m.
Their most versatile marquee is the Clearspan. With no internal or external pillars, it is a universal range that offers a flexible, practical and cost-effective solution to most functions. Available widths include 3m, 6m, 9m, 12m and up to 30m in length.
This is one of the smallest marquees they offer, great for a catering area, bar or a sheltered chill out space away from the main marquee. The square base measures at 5mx5m and the hexagon is 10m diameter.
