Our decision to choose The Tipi Company’s tipis as our main hire product was based on a number of things - the first was the fact that the tipis are made right on our doorstep, by a British company, experienced in constructing reliable outdoor shelters. We had looked at other tipi designs and believed The Tipi Company tipi was neater all round and had improved on event tipis on the market at the time.

We’re delighted we chose The Tipi Company to be our manufacturing partner. Tipis are a big change to what we’re used to but they’ve supported us every step of the way and the after sales support has been exceptional. In particular, we’ve been super impressed by the canvas because it’s breathable yet totally waterproof! I can recommend The Tipi Company’s products and service without reservation.

We are absolutely delighted with the tipi that we now have within our grounds. The children love playing in there at break times and it is a very useful base for them to enjoy quiet reading and board games. We are looking forward to purchasing ‘log type’ cushions and lighting so that it can be used over the colder months as well.

We are so happy with our tipi as it complements the school ethos of outdoor experiential learning. It provides us with the opportunity to house a whole class, plus space inside to do our forest school activities. It’s also a great shelter in the winter and a cool shade on hot summer days, plus it’s been strong enough to withstand wind and storms. Overall, a great resource for our school.
