Cross Hire

Cross Hire

When starting a tipi rental business, most people will invest in either two Big Hats (< 120 guests), or three Big Hats (< 180 guests), along with a Link Kit. This will be plenty to get you going for your first season of tipi hire. During that season however, the end client (such as the bride and groom), may increase numbers and therefore will ask for another tipi to be added to the formation.

So that you can say yes, we offer a Cross Hire service where you can dry hire our Big Hat tipis to add onto your formation. This has proven to be an invaluable perk to becoming a client of ours and has allowed our clients to thrive year on year.

“The Tipi Company’s support in helping to develop our business and that of their other customers is second to none. Forming a hire company and starting out with either two or maybe three tips is not for faint hearted, we have been there and know the challenges involved. One of the key problems we experienced especially at the beginning is capacity and not having enough tipis for a job. Fortunately the Tipi Company provides a Cross hire service and has allowed us in the past to take on jobs that we would have turned away. Turning away work for a startup company could mean the difference between success and failure.

As we have grown and our needs as a company have changed, The Tipi Company still continues to support us.”
