Standing side by side with the Big Hat, our Midi Hat is the medium-sized addition to our Hat range. Standing two metres shorter than our Big Hat Tipi at 8m wide, the Midi Hat offers a stylish, unique, and effortlessly cool way to utilise outdoor spaces to great effect. What makes it a Hat you ask? We have designed and manufactured our Hat range to be able to lift and lower the sides.
For sites where space is limited but you still want to enjoy the benefits of our Tipi Entranceways and Tipi Enhancements, the Midi Hat has been designed in the same way as our Big Hat. This allows us to fit our Panoramic Windows and Enhancements into the side of the Midi Hat, creating a larger internal space. With giant roll-up windows, these Enhancement Kits transform the Midi Hat into an all-year-round solution, regardless of the weather, making it perfect for long-term installations.
Need a larger space? The other main benefit of the Midi Hat is that it can also be linked to another Midi Hat or Big Hat creating a huge internal space suitable for events of up to 100-120 people. If two Big Hats can’t fit in the space, then two Midi Hats, measuring 16m wide, are sure to fit.

All sides down you will be able to accommodate 40-50 guests standing or 50-60 people for casual dining.
Yes! In fact you can link 3,4,5+ Midi Hats together to create a formation to fit hundreds of guests. A popular formation is a Big Hat linked to a Midi Hat – particularly popular for intimate weddings and events with seating in the Big Hat and the bar and dancefloor in the Midi Hat.
One Midi Hat on a soft-standing surface will take around 2hrs to build depending on the size of team you have, skill level and weather conditions.
The Midi Hat has laced gussets on each corner of the canvas, meaning that it can be lifted and Enhancement Kits can be fitted. A Midi Tipi only has zip entry points, so all sides are down at all times.
