We have four different options of Enhancement Kits available, each one perfectly tailored for the tipi formation you have invested in. All our Enhancement Kits have been designed to elevate the entrance into the tipis with the use of a clever combination of entrance tunnels and panoramic windows. This combination will add the wow-factor to your investment and create a weatherproofed entrance into your tipis.
When we first started manufacturing tipis, over 10 years ago, we identified that customers wanted window options within the tipis. As a result, we designed our clever Panoramic Window Kit that fits into a lifted side of the tipi, and using clear PVC panels, provides a weatherproof shelter from the elements, while allowing lots of natural daylight into the tipi formation. Another benefit of installing a panoramic window kit is that it can give extra headroom for a stage or bar. We have designed all our windows to be able to be rolled up – so in the heat of the summer, you can enjoy the great outdoors, while in the evening, as the temperature drops, you can drop the windows back down again to create a cosy atmosphere inside.
This is the item that nearly every single one of our customers adds onto their order as it provides a much more practical entrance into the tipi than the simple zip on the side entry option. It acts as a great exit point to the Catering tent, toilet facilities or exit from the tipis, and with a zip-close canvas door, the zips will be secure for the evening. Add on our Wooden Entrance Doors to elevate this option further.
Wooden entrance tipi doors can be fitted to your tipi Enhancement Kit or Entrance Porch and not only will they look visually stunning, they will also provide guests protection from the wind and rain. The doors also help to keep heat in the tipi, which will be welcome in the colder months of the year. Wooden doors also make the structure look grander while keeping the traditional tipi design.
Our handmade tipis can be erected on most surfaces due to expertly-designed enhancements, such as our Hardstanding Kit. If you’re erecting your tipi in an area where the ground is solid, such as a concrete surface, the hardstanding kit can enable safe, sturdy assembly that will last.
We can assess your possible surface options during your complimentary site visit, to identify the safest solution for assembly and design a bespoke hardstanding kit to suit your needs. The tipi formation may require a ballast system if there are drilling restrictions, so arrange a site visit with our experienced Sales Team, and we’ll be able to provide you with the best advice for your outdoor space.
