Depending on your requirements, our knowledgeable Sales Team will suggest several formations based on the land you have available and the number of guests you wish to accommodate.
Do you want to host small intimate weddings of 50 guests, or do you want to cater for the masses? A lot will depend on the size of space available, planning permission, budget, and manpower you have available to run the events on the ground.
Guest numbers vary depending on what you want inside the outdoor structure. For example, do you want space for a dancefloor, bar and seating all within the formation? Or are you planning on just using the tipis as the dancing and entertainment space, or the dining area exclusively?
We can discuss all of these ideas with you during the Consultation Phase, to establish exactly what will work for you. In addition, a detailed Floor Plan will be provided to you after our Site Visit to help you visualise exactly what your tipis will look like.

There are several ways in which you can heat your tipis effectively to ensure your guests have an enjoyable time while at your site. The most popular options amongst our clients are:
There are several ways in which you can heat your tipis effectively to ensure your guests have an enjoyable time while at your site. The most popular options amongst our clients are:
Indirect fan heaters are positioned outside the tipi, with the vent pushed under the edge of the tipi. This heating method is the most effective at heating the tipis. We have found that one indirect fan heater is suitable for 1-2 Big Hats, whereas two indirect fan heaters are needed for 3-4 Big Hats.
Infrared heaters (attached to the purlin beams).
Enclosed wood burners (positioned to the side of the tipi to ensure maximum floor space, the vent is installed through the tipi canvas side). Although this option looks fantastic, we have found this method doesn’t suitably heat the tipis in larger formations.

Due to the reasons above, we do not recommend the use of open fire pits in tipis. A great alternative is to position a fire pit in the open air outside the tipis, to act as a quirky breakout space for wedding and event guests.
